About us

Salam

My name is Salam. I am a mindfulness practitioner. I created Sangha Stories program for children and Twelve Seeds concept, as a mindfulness seed offering. I believe mindfulness carries within it seeds of life transformation.

I have been on a self exploration journey since 1996, to understand what we are made of, what true happiness is, and how things interconnect. I became a yoga and mindfulness practitioner in 2006 and continue to explore mindfulness every day. I have a passion for reading literature and love sharing classical and modern stories with our Sangha Stories children and in our adult community sessions. My life continues to be transformed by the practice.

This work is strictly secular and suits all faiths and beliefs. It is a love offering in continuation of my beautiful teacher and Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. It is also in continuation of people who inspire us everyday.

Speaking of which, my husband Ziggy is an artist, and we share our space with our two  children, a mini poodle called Cookie and a Scottish fold called Lily, all of whom remind us to keep grounded in the present moment!

Ziggy
